oh, how i love photographs made on the streets of New York.. this quite unknown photographer named Vasco Roma reminds me of one of my favorites: Saul Leiter. the colors, the light and shadowing, the hidden view as like the photographer is not recognized by his subjects at all, the atmosphere, a strange calmness.. New York in the 40's and 50's..
